Just when you thought the world was safe from more movies about the already over-done DL issue, another one has surfaced.Endorsed by the king of the DLs JL King, this film directed by Atlanta based filmmaker Bobby M. Peoples Sr. and writer Jermaine Ka’mell began making the rounds in early 2007.
Unlike the stories presented in the DL Chronicles series on HERE TV, Partly Cloudy is a sort of soap opera meets the chittlin' circuit stage play presentation on video.

Ashley’s grief of her son’s death nearly destroys her chances of true love in her 10 year marriage to Ray. She constantly blames him for the death while he deals with the loss of his son through other outlets. He meets Darnell and together they realize that love has no boundaries. Taking advantage of this unique opportunity is the first challenge they face; dealing with the consequences is the next.
