DIRTY LAUNDRY STRAIGHT TO DVD?

Well, I guess that after a weaker than expected turn out during the limited release of my friend Maurice Jamal's film Dirty Laundry, it has now gone straight to DVD and will be released in February 2008.

You can now also purchase all episodes of the now cancelled Noah's Arc, and in 2008 purchase the soon to be released first season of the DL Chronicles, and the release of the cult classic from Patrick Ian Polk "PUNKS."

Click on any of the links above to purchase or pre-order your copies of some Black gay cinematic history today!

A friend and I were JUST talking about this movie coming out in theaters soon. Ironically, I asked him, "Is Black America really ready?". I guess this is our answer. I AM SOOO DISAPPOINTED! Thanks, Joe. You are on top of your game, my friend.

Whoa! Actually the straight-to-DVD is a rumor that started ecause of of early industry posts about the DVD.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the community for it's support of this remarkable film. We had a very successful limited run in New York City and Los Angeles with sold out shows, great reviews and press coverage across the country! Our opening weekend brought high per screen averages and we outperformed a majority of the big studio releases.

In January, I will be making an exciting announcement about "Laundry" coming to your city in a bold, exciting, new way! Get ready to experience the film in the way that great films are meant to seen!

This film would not be possible without the support of the Black LGBT community. Its success is OUR success.

Love you all and Happy New Year!

Maurice Jamal,
Director/Writer, Dirty Laundry
